From Boooooooom!: ' Channel 4 re-created the sets from The Shining in an effort to promote a season of 10 Kubrick films to be broadcast on More 4 starting July 15. But they didn’t just re-create the sets, they found lookalikes of the cast and the crew, shot it with a 25mm Cooke lens (one of Kubrick’s favourite lenses), and most of the equipment you see was actually used in the original production!'
